Susquehanna Smallmouth Bass are very eager to chase a moving bait not usually requiring much finesse fishing. We use only the finest equipment from Lews_fishing. We use Spinnerbaits from Sick Custom Baits. Crankbaits, Topwater and Stick baits from Rapala. Our bottom baits include TackleHd, OnTheSpotBaits along with others from time to time. Come and spend a day on the water with us and we will show you how to work these quality baits.
After a long cold winter as soon as the water begins to warm the Susquehanna Catfish go on a feeding frenzy. This is one of the best catfish bites of the year. This is also the time to catch some of the biggest of the season. Fishing for these River Monsters this time of the year is pretty straight forward we will fish feeding areas near their wintering holes. when it comes to bait cut bait seems to do the trick but prepared baits also work at times. There is also a good amount of Flatheads in these parts of the River so a true giant is possible. These trips are fun for all ages just dress warm. These trips will run 4 to 5 hours all rods reels and bait will be provided. Give me a call and try it you will remember this adventure for years to come.

I am a lifelong resident of NEPA and has been fishing over 50 year. After spending many years on the Bass Tournament Trails I moved to guiding on the Susquehanna River and surrounding Pocono lake. I am a full time guide and spend about 250 days a year on the water. I am very knowledgeable on the latest techniques and lures. I will show you the latest techniques and review the basics to efficiently utilize your time. I understand not everyone wants to throw crankbaits or jerkbaits all day there are usually several patterns going on so I can usually accommodate other techniques you would rather try. l also have several other guides available so larger groups requiring more than one boat are welcome. All skill levels are also welcome. We will make whatever adjustments needed to make your trip a enjoyable and memorable experience.
Cancellation: The only reason a trip may be cancelled is in emergency situations such as high water or heavy stained wind. In such cases your Deposit Will be refunded or you can reschedule your trip, your choice. A phone call will be made to contact you as soon as there is a definite possibility of adverse condition. Cancellations made by clients will result in loss of their deposit if the cancellation is made 7 days or less from the scheduled trip. If you must cancel please call and officially make a cancellation. If myself or a staff member ends up going out to meet clients and they don't show up, the clients will receive a bill in the mail for the day. CPR: Catch Photo and Release. ALL BASS WILL BE RELEASED in order to maintain this world class fishery. Catfish and walleye under 21 inches may be kept. Capacity: TWO ADULTS or ONE ADULT and TWO CHILDREN NO EXCEPTION. The Susquehanna is a very shallow rocky river weight matters. I have other boats available if other anglers wish to come along. Pa.fishing license: You must have your PA Fishing License with you and displayed no exceptions. Fowl Weather: You will need to bring your rain gear hopefully you won’t need it but you never know. Bring enough warm clothes I have ample storage for extra gear. Sunglasses are a must not only to see the structure but also for eye protection. Equiptment: If you choose to use my equipment you will be using very high quality Lews rods and reels, each one of these outfits cost in excess of $ 300 That being said if you drop one in you will be charged the replacement cost. Instructional Bass Fishing Trips
Instructional trips will focus more on teaching everything there is to know about a particular technique, fish habits, strategies, and or whatever you want to hone your skills on! We will talk about the situations or conditions you might face and how the fish will react to the baits your are interested in learning about.
